Wiki Guide

We more or less require the creation of character pages; and strongly encourage the posting of logs.
All information on character pages must be IC (the small exception is the OOC section of the infobox); and it is considered that other characters could discover, with an appropriate degree of effort, whatever you share here. Do not post your character's secrets.
To create a character page
Type your unique character name into the search box at the top of the wiki, as you wish it to appear as your character page title (e.g. Maria Comnena, Fidelia of Acre, Baldwin IV of Jerusalem).
On the next page you'll be prompted to create this new page. Click the name link.
On the next page, enter the following text into the empty box:
Character
Click "Preview". This will show you a preview of a blank page with an infobox on the far right. You can fill it in by entering "Parameter Name = Data". Copy and paste the following code (replacing the previous Character in squiggly brackets) to get started.

Enter your data after each equals sign. Use HTML line break tags to separate the items in lists of spouses and children. Type is, for example, Historical PC, Plot PC, or Colour PC. To add an image, use the "Upload file" page linked to in the sidebar, and replace "Your_image_file_name.extension" with the correct title and extension for it.
Your public background and other IC information you'd like to share should be entered below the code. Please include [wiki links] to the pages of other characters you mention herein, if such pages are available. Here's an example to copy and paste if you're not sure how to format your text into sections.
An introductory paragraph or two. == A sub-heading == Part of your public background. == Another sub-heading == Another part of your public background. === A smaller sub-heading === Some more information here.
The final text on your character page should be a list of the categories to which it ought to belong. You'll always want Category: Characters; after that Category:PCs (unless you're making a page for an NPC!), either Category:Fictional or Category: Historical, either Category:Incomers or Category:Poulains, and then the category for the noble house or knightly order or other organisation to which you may owe allegiance. Adding a category with the same name as your page title starts a place for logs featuring your character.
Here's a sample category list you can copy and paste and adjust to your needs.

To create a log page
In order that they shall appear in chronological order in Category:Logs, log pages are titled using the following format:
YYYYMMDD Title
For example, "11921009 A Glorious Example Log", for a scene which took place on the 9th of October 1192. Always use double-digit numbers for months and days, so that your date always has eight numbers in it.
Enter the correct title for your log into the search box at the top of the wiki. On the next page you'll be prompted to create this new page. Click the name link.
On the next page, enter the following text into the empty box:
Log
Click "Preview". This will show you a preview of a blank page with an infobox on the far right. You can fill it in by entering "Parameter Name = Data". Copy and paste the following code (replacing the previous Log in squiggly brackets) to get started.

Enter your data after each equals sign. Use HTML paragraph tags to separate the paragraphs of the room desc. Please include [wiki links] to the pages of characters listed under Participants, and to any previous logs you consider Related to this one, if such pages are available. Separate lists using commas.
The text of your log should be entered next, in double-spaced paragraphs with extraneous matter elided.
The final text on your log page should be a row of category links: to the logs category itself, and then the categories of all PCs present.

And then, for instance:
